Overview
Ear problems are one of the most common ailments afflicting dogs and cats and may be due to infection, trauma, parasites or other diseases. Most often, the first sign is the presence of discharge from the ear.
Sometimes, mild discharge is normal. Some pets tend to produce more wax than others. For other pets, ear discharge is often a sign of trouble.

In October, Care Small Animal Hospital again received accreditation following a comprehensive evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association. The evaluation included a quality assessment review of our hospital's facility, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care management. Only 15% of all small animal veterinary practices in the United States have achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. In order to maintain status, Care Small Animal Hospital must continue to be evaluated regularly by the association's consultants.
